Argyll is famous for its festivals; highland games, highland dancing, and Scottish country music, to name a few. Bell
Lawrie Scottish Series, Tarbert
Bell Lawrie Scottish Series (locally known as Tarbert Boat Race) is the premier sailing event in Scotland and it is the second largest sailing series in the United Kingdom. The Series is organized by the well known Clyde Cruising Club and its Scottish Series Yacht Race has now become one of the biggest events in the British Yachting calendar. The race is usually held in May/June every year.
Tarbert is proud of a beautiful natural harbour which is now well maintained, well equipped with permanent pontoons and moorings, well provided with showers and toilets. More than 300 boats usually participate in various boating events. If you need more information,

Car Rally: The Tunnock's Tour of Mull Rally
The Tunnock's Tour of Mull Rally is organised by the 2300 Club, a group of motor sport enthusiasts based in Blackburn, Lancashire, England, UK. This event is held every October on the Isle of Mull, Argyll, Scotland.
The car rally is held annually, the event is open to anybody who would like to have a go in the appropriate vehicle. The event runs from Friday Evening to Sunday morning in three discrete sections. The cars compete against the clock over the public roads which are closed to the public during the event.
